From [HERE] White people at Eastern Kentucky University have circulated flyers in campus buildings frequented by police and firefighting trainees. The flyers claim that the “war declared against whites” in the form of “anti-racist” campaigns amounts to genocide: “[t]he method used is forced assimilation and massive immigration; exactly what China did to Tibet.”

According to the flyers, immigrants are not to blame, as they are “just the crates of guns in this non-violent genocide against white people.”

An African-American professor told WEKU that she believes she is the target of the flyers, but the university would not confirm her suspicions. “At this point, no one has information leading to any suspects, so it would be premature for us to guess as to who or which group was responsible,” said university spokesperson Marc Whitt.

Whitt also contradicted this professor’s claim that she has repeatedly complained of racially based harassment.

The collection featured expensive items such as a $695 cashmere mask (above), $875 Black, python brim Brooklyn hat and  a $33,900 gold Hublot watch. The hefty price tag may not be having an adverse effect on sales as The New York Daily News reported a 21 year old NYU student named Andrew Davey purchased $3,000 worth of merchandise from the BNY NYC SCC line.

Yesterday was also the day of the City Council hearing on the probing of the racial profiling allegations. Jay Z, nor anyone from Barneys and Macy’s attended the hearing but instead had statements denying allegations. The NYC Commission on Human Rights announced at the hearing that the group has given Barneys as well as 16 other retail stores until Friday (November 22nd) to provide the pertinent information for this investigation. The information requested includes loss prevention policies; procedures for approaching and detaining individuals suspected of theft; records regarding all individuals accused of theft in the past two years; and what, if any presence, NYPD officers have in the retail locations.

Tx. Lynching Allowed to Proceed: At Sentencing White Prosecutor Argued, 'Blacks pose a greater risk of future dangerousness'

From [HERE] and [HERE] A Texas appeals court Wednesday rejected an appeal to overturn a death sentence for a convicted Black man whose lawyers argued the sentence was the result of racial discrimination. The majority of the state's highest criminal court, six judges, issued an unsigned opinion, dismissing the appeal outright without any elucidation beyond stating that it failed to meet the criteria set out in statute for the consideration of a subsequent writ.

Duane Buck, a 50 yr old Black man, was sentenced to die for the 1995 murder of his girlfriend and one of her friends. 

He does not deny his guilt in these terrible crimes and neither Buck's attorneys nor prosecutors dispute his conviction for the double-murder - so there is no question that he must be punished.  Nevertheless, he must have a fair sentence - free from unconstitutional factors such as race. His attorneys have argued that racial considerations factored into the sentencing phase of his trial.

During the presentation of evidence at the penalty phase of Mr. Buck’s trial — when the jury was required to decide between the death penalty and a life sentence — the trial prosecutor elicited testimony from psychologist Walter Quijano (defense witness) indicating that Mr. Buck’s race made him more likely to be violent in the future.

The prosecutor asked, “You have determined that the sex factor, that a male is more violent than a female because that’s just the way it is, and that the race factor, black, increases the future dangerousness for various complicated reasons; is that correct?”

“Yes,” the psychologist, Walter Quijano, answered.

Because a finding of future dangerousness is a prerequisite for a death sentence in Texas, the prosecutor then argued in closing that the jury should rely on that race-based expert testimony to find that Mr. Buck would pose a future danger. The jury accepted the prosecutor’s recommendation, and Mr. Buck was sentenced to death.

White Party (republican) Rep. 'T- Rad' Caught Buying Cocaine - 'Druggie Fresh' not arrested or handcuffed

From [HERE] Rep. Trey Radel, R-Fla., was caught buying drugs as part of a federal investigation into a Washington, D.C., drug ring last month and is being charged with cocaine possession, according to a senior Drug Enforcement Administration official.

The official, who was not authorized to speak publicly about the case, said several federal agencies working as part of a task force arrested a dealer who told them one of his cocaine customers was a congressman. The dealer, working with federal agents, set up a buy on Oct. 29, and Radel, a freshman congressman first elected last year, purchased the cocaine, the official said.

FBI agents later went to Radel's apartment, where they detained him, the official said. Radel hired a defense attorney who negotiated charges with a prosecutor, the official said. Law enforcement agents never handcuffed Radel or took him to jail, the official said.

Radel will appear Wednesday in District of Columbia Superior Court to face the misdemeanor cocaine possession charge. Charging documents from the U.S. attorney's office say Radel "unlawfully, knowingly and intentionally" possessed "a quantity of cocaine."

This Time Zimmerman Points his Gun at a White Woman's Face. Same Result?

From [HERE] The latest conflict in racist suspect, George Zimmerman's life could come down -- like so many others -- to what is heard on a 911 emergency recording.

Zimmerman, 30, is scheduled to appear before a judge on Tuesday facing charges including aggravated assault, battery and criminal mischief for allegedly pointing a shotgun at his girlfriend, Samantha Scheibe, during a dispute on Monday. The judge will decide whether Zimmerman, who was taken into custody Monday afternoon and spent the night in a 64-square-foot cell, will be allowed bail.

Zimmerman is no stranger to the jail in Seminole County, having spent time there after he was charged with killing Trayvon Martin, an unarmed black teenager in Sanford, Fla., in 2012. Zimmerman also was sent to jail when his bail was revoked after questions arose about whether he had hidden assets when his initial bail was computed and when he lied about the status of his passport. 

Eventually Zimmerman was freed on bail, but his movements were limited until a six-person jury (5 whites 1 Latino = no Blacks) acquitted him of murder charges in July in the shooting of Martin. During the trial, 911 tapes played an important role in establishing the chain of events that the jury considered.

In the current case, Scheibe, 27, called Seminole County authorities from her Apopka, Fla. home about 12:30 p.m. and complained that Zimmerman started an argument when she told him to leave, according to the arrest report from the sheriff’s office. Zimmerman began packing his belongings, including a shotgun and an assault rifle. She said she began putting his things in the living room and outside the house, and he became upset. She is a white person (see above photo).

There is a pause and she continues, saying to the dispatcher. “He pushed me out of my house and locked me out. … He knows how to do this. He knows how to play this game.”

Zimmerman, officials said, then barricaded himself inside the house. He called 911 to tell his side of the story.

“I have a girlfriend, who for lack of a better word, has gone crazy on me,” Zimmerman said.

Zimmerman denies pulling a weapon on his girlfriend and said it was she who smashed a table at the home they shared. He also told the dispatcher that Scheibe was pregnant with their child and that she had decided she would raise the child on her own. When Zimmerman started to leave, “she got mad,” he said.

At a Monday evening news conference, Seminole County Sheriff's Office Chief Deputy Dennis Lemma told reporters that Scheibe wasn't pregnant.

Deputies eventually used a key to enter and push the furniture aside, Lemma said. Zimmerman put up no resistance when he was taken into custody.

Monday’s dispute was Zimmerman's second domestic dispute involving police since he became a national name.  In September,  Zimmerman and his estranged wife were involved in a domestic dispute days after Shellie Zimmerman filed divorce papers. She was living in Lake Mary, Fla., and described to police how Zimmerman allegedly assaulted her father and threatened her and her father with a gun.

Zimmerman “is in his car and he continually has his hand on his gun and he keeps saying step closer and he is just threatening all of us,” Shellie Zimmerman told a 911 operator.

“He punched my dad on the nose. My dad has a mark on his face. I saw his glasses were on the floor. He accosted my father and then took my iPad out of my hand and smashed it and cut it with a pocket knife.... I'm really, really afraid.”

From [PanAfricanNews] Federal Judge Stephen Rhodes heard closing arguments in the largest municipal bankruptcy trial in United States history on November 8. The City of Detroit being unjustly represented by the law firm of the imposed emergency manager Kevyn Orr, Jones Day, attempted to make a case for forcing the majority African American municipality into insolvency where pensioners may get as little as sixteen cents on the dollar.

During the course of the preliminary hearings in federal court, over 23,000 retirees received letters from Orr’s office saying that their healthcare plans would be terminated by the end of this year. Subsequent announcements indicate that the deadline has been extended to the end of February 2014.

The judge will issue a ruling on whether the city is insolvent and whether the state-imposed emergency manager conducted “good faith” negotiations with the unions and other creditors prior to filing for bankruptcy. Attorneys for the unions say that the actions of Orr and his team has been shrouded in secrecy and that a decision was already made prior to any efforts to discuss these issues with the labor leaders and pensioners.

According to Sharon Levine, the attorney representing the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) in the bankruptcy trial, “You don’t know how or what is going to be cut. How could you make a counterproposal without the very basic, simple facts?” (NYT, November 8)

Additional hearings will be held on the emergency management plans to pay off a swap deal with Bank of America and United Bank of Switzerland (UBS) which, if given the go ahead, will drive the city further into financial ruin. The Detroit City Council, where a majority of members have voted consistently with the banks, unanimously rejected the swap deal on October 21 that would be refinanced by Barclays, later sending a resolution to the bankruptcy court explaining why the arrangement was no good for Detroit workers, retirees and taxpayers. But one of the major factors in the future of extreme weather, and therefore one of the main factors in the future of the Philippines, is almost entirely out of the country’s control.

Most climate scientists agree that increasing global temperatures will cause more intense storms in the future. And while it’s hard to pinpoint the causes of any one storm, many agree that there will be more Typhoon Haiyan-strength storms to come because of climate change.

Now, many in the Philippines, as well as environmental advocates and climate experts, are pushing for countries with money, including the United States, to pay to help lessen the impacts of climate change across the globe. They say that industrialized nations should not only foot the bill because they can, but because they are the largely responsible for climate change.

The U.S. has expressed deep reservations about taking blame for climate change and accepting some liability. An official U.S. briefing on the current climate talks obtained by The Guardian this week confirmed as much. The U.S. has also publicly rejected calls for taking responsibility for global warming and for funding other country’s response to its effects.

“We don’t accept the narrative of blame,” the U.S. Special Envoy for Climate Change Todd D. Stern said in a speech in London last month.

U.N. Condemns Racism Directed at Black French Justice Minister

"Cunning as a monkey, Taubira gets the banana back" From [HERE] The United Nations Human Rights Office condemned racist attacks against French Justice Minister Christiane Taubira, a spokesman said Friday.

The comments came after a French political candidate likened Taubira, a black woman born in Guyana, to a monkey on a documentary television program broadcast in October. A week ago, several demonstrators in the town of Angers waived bananas at her, and this week the French magazine Minute featured Taubira on its cover with the caption "Cunning as a monkey, Taubira gets the banana back," a U.N. statement said.

This utterly unacceptable abuse of a prominent politician on the basis of her color is a stark manifestation of the rising racism, xenophobia and intolerance aimed at members of ethnic and religious minorities, as well as migrants, in many European countries," said an unidentified spokesman for the U.N. Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights, Rupert Colville.

Racist Suspect Charged in Murder of Unarmed Black Woman: shot in the face through a locked screen door

(In their relations with non-whites, racists function as psychopaths.) From [HERE] The suburban racist suspect who shot and killed 19-year-old Renisha McBride on his front porch was arraigned Friday. Theodore Wafer, 54, is charged with second-degree murder and manslaughter.  Mr. Wafer was also charged with a weapons violation, connected to using his Mossberg 12-gauge shotgun. The weapon appeared to be legally owned by Mr. Wafer. The charges could carry a maximum sentence of life in prison. His lawyer, Mr. Carpenter, said he would offer a strong defense.

By the end of the day, Mr. Wafer had posted bond and was released. He was placed on administrative leave from his job as an employee at the Wayne County Airport Authority.

At a press conference Friday morning, Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy, who is Black, told reporters that evidence suggests Wafer shot McBride in the face through a locked screen door while she stood on his porch in the early morning hours of Nov. 2, reports the Detroit Free Press. The prosecutor rejected the white man’s assertion that he had been acting in self-defense.

Wafer entered a not-guilty plea during an arraignment on Friday. Mr. Wafer had told the police that he believed the woman was breaking into his home. The prosecutor said that she found no evidence of an attempted break-in and that McBride had been knocking on the door.

Worthy said McBride had been driving in the Dearborn Heights area late that night, had a car accident, and ended up on Wafer's porch some hours later. Wafer's home is a little less than half a mile from the scene of the accident and Worthy said it is still unclear where McBride was between crashing her car and being shot. 

In recent days, Wafer’s attorney had called the shooting justified, but Worthy said prosecutors disagreed. She was unarmed. 

McBride's family members have said they believe the young Black woman's cell phone battery died after the car crash early last Saturday and she was seeking help from the white man. The Detroit Free Press reported that Wafer told police that he thought the young woman was trying to rob him and that he accidentally discharged his shotgun.  

A "frightened" Wafer dialed 911 - after the murder

“It’s very, very, very hard to believe that it was an accident when the gun is in her face and it goes off accidentally,” attorney Gerald Thurswell, who represents McBride’s family. “Somebody had to have their finger on the trigger. He was in a safe place — he was in his house and he didn’t have to open the door. He could’ve called 911 to protect himself. And if she was seeking help, he could’ve called 911 to get her help.”

At the time of her death, McBride had a blood alcohol level of .218, more than twice the legal limit for driving. Thurswell, said that the fact McBride was intoxicated when she was shot "probably makes her less of a physical threat to anybody."

Fair Housing Alliance alleges "Systematic" Racism in Bank of America practices at foreclosed Baltimore homes

From [HERE] A vacant Baltimore home owned by Bank of America receives better upkeep if it is located in a largely white neighborhood, a discriminatory practice that hurts minority areas, the National Fair Housing Alliance alleged in a complaint filed Thursday.

The complaint argues that there are "stark racial disparities" in Bank of America marketing or maintenance practices in 20 metropolitan areas, a violation of the Fair Housing Act. Baltimore was one of five cities added Thursday to the complaint, first filed with the Department of Housing and Urban Development in 2012.

Bank of America officials have repeatedly maintained that the corporation operates with a uniform maintenance policy and argued that the alliance fails to take into account factors such as the property's condition when the bank took possession of it. Bank of America did not respond to a request for comment Friday afternoon.

In the Baltimore area, the alliance investigated 29 Bank of America properties, looking at issues such as broken locks, doors, or windows; significant amounts of trash; and lack of for-sale signs. In minority areas, 90 percent of the foreclosed homes had five or more problems and 48 percent had 10 or more problems.

"I have agreed to move forward with the launch of BNY SCC collection under the condition that I have a leadership role and seat on a council specifically convened to deal with the issue of racial profiling," Jay-Z says in the statement. 

"The easy position would have been to walk away and leave policy making to others hoping that someone addresses the problem. I will not leave the outcome to others. I will take this into my own hands with full power to recommend, review and revise policies and guidelines moving forward. I am choosing to take this head on," he continues.

In addition, Beyonce Knowles' husband explains that profits from his BNY SCC clothing label will go to The Shawn Carter Foundation. The foundation will also receive 10 percent of all retail sales from Barneys New York stores nationwide and online on November 20. 

For the last several weeks, the issue of the racial profiling of African Americans by major department stores has been front and center, with Barneys at its core and Macy's right behind. That is, in multiple episodes involving Black customers these white owned and controlled department stores targeted them for theft because they are non-white. Then, working in concert with the NYPD, black persons were unlawfully stopped, questioned, searched and detained by cops. In all reported cases the Black customers had done nothing wrong.

White people lack color and melanin and they dislike this difference. As stated by Dr. Welsing, 'always, in the presence of color whites will feel genetically inferior. Therefore they use make-up, tan their skin and exercise excessively to compensate for their perceived deficiency.' [MORE]

From [HERE] Club Sun Color Studios, a tanning salon based in Alabama raised controversy by posting an ad on its Facebook page promoting a Thanksgiving tanning specialthey were running. As reported by WPMI Local 15, the ad many find offensive shows a brunette woman dressed in a Native American costume next to a blonde woman with lighter skin dressed in a pilgrim costume. It reads: “The Indians brought more than just ‘corn’ to the first Thanksgiving…they brought Sexy ‘Color!’”

We’re not exactly sure why the word ‘corn’ is in quotes, but Club Sun representatives stated that they did not mean to offend the public with their sunless spray tan advertisement. David Arnett, Marketing Director of Club Sun, himself a confused victim of white supremacy, apologized for the ad and said, “I myself am Native American, and I am very proud of my heritage and skin tone. The thought process behind the ad was simply a play on my own ‘sexy color.' Again, I apologize for any offense and misunderstanding." The ad is now gone from the Club Sun Color Studios Facebook page.

White Supremacy Quota: 60% of Prisoners Serving Life Without Parole for Non-Violent Offenses are Black

From [HERE] The American Civil Liberties Union  published a study [text, PDF] on Wednesday finding that 3,278 Americans are currently serving life sentences without parole for nonviolent offenses. The study, entitled "A Living Death: Life without Parole for Nonviolent Offenses," explains the racial and gender makeup of the inmates, as well as the state of the law that has led to the increasing rate at which nonviolent offenders are being sentenced to life without parole. In this analysis, the report makes particular note of mandatory minimum sentences stemming from "repeat offender" laws. "The punishments these people received are grotesquely out of proportion to the crimes they committed," said author Jennifer Turner. "In a humane society, we can hold people accountable for drug and property crimes without throwing away the key." The study also points out extreme racial disparity in the sentencing patterns and the economic burden of a life-without-parole sentence.

Settlement reached in Supreme Court "fair housing" discrimination/Negro removal case

From [HERE] The US Supreme Court will not hear a case regarding racial discrimination in home sales and rentals after the matter was settled out of court on Wednesday. Originally scheduled for oral argument December 4, the case of Mount Holly v. Mt. Holly Gardens Citizens in Action, Inc. presented the issue of whether disparate impact claims are cognizable under the Fair Housing Act. The Fair Housing Act [text] makes it unlawful "[t]o refuse to sell or rent after the making of a bona fide offer ... or otherwise make unavailable or deny, a dwelling to any person because of race, color, religion, sex, familial status, or national origin." Petitioners sought to redevelop a blighted housing development that was disproportionately occupied by low and moderate income non-white people. The redevelopment sought to replace the blighted housing with new market rate housing which was unaffordable to the current residents within the blighted area. Wednesday evening, the local government in the New Jersey community agreed to settle the case. The Township Council voted unanimously to adopt resolutions concluding the case. Both sides will withdraw their case in court, an automatic result upon settlement.

In the settlement Wednesday, the township agreed to provide homes to the 20 residents and compensate seven other homeowners who have chosen to leave the community. Both sides agreed to drop all legal proceedings.

Current residents of the Gardens will have the right to remain in their home community while the houses are built. The 44 homes will be developed by TRF Development Partners Inc. of Philadelphia.

If Township of Mount Holly v. Mount Holly Gardens Citizens had gone before the Supreme Court, the justices would have been asked to decide whether Mount Holly had effectively discriminated against the predominantly Hispanic and African American residents who populate the Gardens when it condemned their homes in 2003 as part of a redevelopment plan.

First raised under the 1968 Fair Housing Act, the principle of disparate impact holds that developers and municipalities may not undertake redevelopment plans - especially condemnations - that adversely impact minority groups even if those actions are not intentionally prejudiced.

The US Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit had previously reversed the district court's decision when it found [opinion] that the respondents presented a prima facie case under the Fair Housing Act despite the fact that there was no evidence of discriminatory intent and no segregative effect. The Supreme Court granted certiorari to hear the case in June.

From [HERE] As [white] prosecutors prepare to make an announcement about whether charges will be filed against the [white] man who shot and killed Renisha McBride, a toxicology report has revealed that the 19-year-old black woman had a blood alcohol level of .218 at the time of her death - more than twice the legal limit for driving.

A spokeswoman for the Wayne County, Mich. Health and Human Services Department also told CBS News' Crimesider that there was a "strong possibility" McBride had marijuana in her system, but that a re-test was recommended to confirm.

McBride was killed by a shotgun blast to the face as she stood on the front porch of a Dearborn Heights, Mich., home in the early morning hours of Nov. 2 after she had been in a car accident. The death was ruled a homicide and Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy has said she is considering all the evidence in the case before making a decision about whether to charge the unidentified 54-year-old homeowner who shot her.

Worthy has scheduled a press conference for 11 a.m. Friday to address the case.

Gerald Thurswell, the attorney representing McBride's family, told CBS News' Crimesider that the fact McBride was intoxicated when she was shot "probably makes her less of a physical threat to anybody."

"The bottom line in this whole case is that he was in his house, the door is locked, he has a phone," said Thurswell of the homeowner. "All he had to do was call 911. Maybe she would have been arrested because she was drunk - but she'd be alive." [He also never had had to open the door - since he was so "frightened"]

McBride reportedly hit a parked car with her own car sometime after midnight. Last week, Thurswell told Crimesider that he spoke with a woman who heard the car accident and came outside to offer help.

According to Thurswell, the woman said that McBride seemed to have sustained minor injuries in the incident, was bleeding from the head, and kept saying "I want to go home."

From [HERE] A white Texas man won a political campaign Tuesday in a heavily black area using an unconventional tactic — according to a local media outlet, he pretended to be black.

Dave Wilson was tired of “all the shenanigans” plaguing the Houston Community College System and decided to run for office, KHOU-TV reported Friday. However, Wilson reportedly thought the odds of a white conservative Republican winning in an overwhelmingly black Democratic district were low, so he turned to a tactic his opponent said was “disgusting.” 

“I’d always said it was a long shot,” Wilson said. “No, I didn’t expect to win.”

According to KHOU-TV, Wilson’s campaign “printed direct mail pieces strongly implying that he’s black.” The materials reportedly featured his campaign slogan emblazoned next to the faces of smiling black individuals.

One of his mailers even said, “Endorsed by Ron Wilson,” implying he had attained support from a famous former black state representative. In fact, in fine print below the endorsement, the campaign clarified that “Ron Wilson and Dave Wilson are cousins.” “He’s a nice cousin,” Wilson told KHOU-TV. “We played baseball in high school together. And he’s endorsed me.”

The tactics apparently worked, guiding Wilson to victory by a thin margin of 26 votes. Now [that the election is over], his former opponent is speaking out. “I don’t think it’s good,” Bruce Austin said. “I don’t think it’s good for both democracy and the whole concept of fair play. But that was not his intent, apparently.”
