From [HERE[ While serious crime rates in the U.S. have been declining for the last 20 years, the number of prisoners serving life sentences has more than quadrupled since 1984. As documented in our new report, over 159,000 people were serving life sentences in 2012, with nearly 50,000 serving life without parole.

Key findings from the report include:

One of every nine individuals in prison is serving a life sentence.

The population of prisoners serving life without parole (LWOP) has risen more sharply than those with the possibility of parole: there has been a 22.2% increase in LWOP since just 2008.

Approximately 10,000 lifers have been convicted of nonviolent offenses.

Racist Israelis Erupt after High Court orders release of "illegal aliens" (Black Africans Detained Without a Trial)

Blocking the intersection at the entrance to the Hatikvah market in south Tel Aviv to traffic for an hour and a half, Jewish Israelis decried the court ruling, which mandates that the 2,000 Africans jailed in Israel on the basis of the invalidated law must be released within ninety days.

In the last several years, south Tel Aviv has become home to approximately 30,000 non-Jewish African nationals, most of whom entered the country by walking across Israel’s desert border with Egypt.

Israelis opposed to their presence accuse them of migrating to Israel solely to earn more money than they could hope to in their home countries, while advocates for the Africans claim that most of them have fled dictatorial regimes and ethnic cleansing campaigns.

Solitary Confinement in a White Supremacy System

In order for the chickens to produce more eggs, the farmers create artificial days and nights. They use indoor lighting to create a shorter day and a shorter night so that the chickens believe that twenty-four hours have passed, and then they produce more eggs. There is a lot of anger, a lot of frustration, and much suffering in the chickens. They express their anger and frustration by attacking the chickens next to them. They use their beaks to peck and wound each other. They cause each other to bleed, to suffer, and to die. Gallup poll: White Party's (Republican) Favorability Sinks to Record Low

With the Republican-controlled House of Representatives engaged in a tense, government-shuttering budgetary standoff against a Democratic president and Senate, the Republican Party is now viewed favorably by 28% of Americans, down from 38% in September. This is the lowest favorable rating measured for either party since Gallup began asking this question in 1992.

The Democratic Party also has a public image problem -- although not on the same elephantine scale as that of the Republican Party -- with 43% viewing the Democratic Party favorably, down four percentage points from last month.

These findings come from a Gallup poll conducted Oct. 3-6 that followed the Oct. 1 partial government shutdown after lawmakers in Washington were unable to pass a spending plan for the federal government.

More than six in 10 Americans (62%) now view the GOP unfavorably, a record high. By comparison, nearly half of Americans (49%) view the Democratic Party unfavorably. Roughly one in four Americans see both parties unfavorably. [MORE]

If you don't understand white supremacy you will only be confused by Racial Disparities in the Criminal "justice" system

Greater Confinement is the Goal. From [HERE] One in every three black males born today can expect to go to prison at some point in their life, compared with one in every six Latino males, and one in every 17 white males, if current incarceration trends continue.

These are among the many pieces of evidence cited by The Sentencing Project, a Washington, D.C.-based group that advocates for prison reform, in a report on the staggering racial disparities that permeate the American criminal justice system. The report was submitted to the U.N. Human Rights Committee for the U.N.’s review of American compliance with the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights later this month. It argues that racial disparity pervades “every stage of the United States criminal justice system, from arrest to trial to sentencing.”

“Racial minorities are more likely than white Americans to be arrested,” the report explains. “Once arrested, they are more likely to be convicted; and once convicted, they are more likely to face stiff sentences.”

Racial disparities within the justice system have been exacerbated by the war on drugs, the report argues. The drug war led the country’s population of incarcerated drug offenders to soar from 42,000 in 1980 to nearly half a million in 2007. From 1999 to 2005, African Americans constituted about 13 percent of drug users, but they made up about 46 percent of those convicted for drug offenses, the report points out.

More than 60% of the people in prison are non-white. From [HERE] The ultimate objective of white supremacy is collective white genetic survival. White people practice racism to survive. A fact beyond change is that 90% of the world is non-white.  According to Frances Cress Welsing, "white genetic survival is the dynamic behind the high incarceration rate of Black males in the U.S., which is globally second to none [MORE]. The United States has less than 5% of the world's population. But it has almost a quarter of the world's prisoners."  The high rate of Black male incarceration contributes in genocidal fashion to the prevention of Black births and the Black male-supported development of all Black children, particularly boys.

The system of white supremacy (racism) requires population control and the greater confinement of substantial numbers of non-white people. [theCode]. According to Neely Fuller, white supremacists/racists make certain that large numbers of non-white people exist under conditions that will most likely cause them to do things that will give racists an excuse to put them in Greater Confinement. White prosecutors, judges, police, probation officers and overworked, de-valued or incompetent, mannequin-like defense counsel are filling the jails with non-whites.  For real, go to your local court and watch the lock-ups/arraignments; they are all Black & Brown. 

PA Judge dismisses Murder Convictions of two Black men serving life

From [HERE] On Tuesday, a Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas Judge dismissed the murder convictions of two Black men serving life sentences. The dismissals were based on problems with the eyewitness testimony and on new evidence of another inmate’s confession. The Associate Press reported that Judge Rose Marie DeFino-Nastasi found the 1998 trial evidence against Pennsylvania Innocence Project client Eugene Gilyard and co-defendant Lance Felder to be “ ‘terribly weak.’ ” She ordered new trials for both men
 
Gilyard and Felder were 18 years old when they were convicted of the 1995 shooting death of a restaurant owner. The victim’s daughter, the only eyewitness of the crime, contradicted her description of the shooter several times. In 1995, she told police the suspect was light-skinned, but at the trial, she said he was dark-skinned. She also said that the perpetrators were at least six feet tall and looked about 26 years old. Gilyard is 5’8” and Felder is 5’6”; they were only 16 at the time of the crime. According to the Associated Press, DeFino-Nastasi said,
 
“ We can’t have these inconsistencies in a case based solely on identification.’ ”
 
In addition to the eyewitness misidentification, the Pennsylvania Innocence Project obtained a 2011 confession of the crime from a man serving a life sentence for another murder. Although the prosecution argued that the man who confessed was offered money by supporters of Gilyard and Felder, Judge DeFino-Nastasi said the man had been named a suspect from the very beginning of the case.
 
The District Attorney’s Office has 30 days to decide if it will appeal. 

“Prison- gerrymandering” is racism: Overwhelmingly White Republican Areas Grab Political Power with Disenfranchised Black & Brown Prison Population

From [HERE] The 14th Amendment, when combined with the War on Crime, has paradoxically disenfranchised vast swaths of the population  and given the rural, white areas surrounding the prisons unforeseen political power.

Disfranchising thousands of voters is only part of the story of how mass incarceration has distorted American democracy. Today, just as it did more than a hundred years earlier, the way the Census calculates resident population also plays a subtle but significant role. As ex-Confederates knew well, prisoners would be counted as residents of a given county, even if they could not themselves vote: High numbers of prisoners could easily translate to greater political power for those who put them behind bars.

With the advent of mass incarceration, and as the number of people imprisoned not only rose dramatically, but also began moving urbanites of color into overwhelmingly white rural counties that housed prisons, the political process was again distorted. In short, thanks to this process that we now call “prison- gerrymandering,” overwhelmingly white and Republican areas of the United States that built prisons as the War on Crime escalated got more political power, whereas areas of country where policing was particularly concentrated and aggressive, areas in which levels of incarceration were, as a result, staggering, lost political power.

Consider research by the Prison Policy Initiative showing how voters across the country gain political power from housing a penal facility. In Powhatan County, Virginia 41% of the 5th Board of Supervisors District that was drawn after the 2000 Census were actually people in prison and in both the First and Third Supervisory Districts of Nottoway County, approximately ¼ of their population comes from large prisons within the county. In the case of Southampton County, such prison-based gerrymandering means that votes of those citizens who live there are worth almost more than twice as much as votes cast in other districts that have the required number of actual residents.

In Michigan as well, mass incarceration has meant distorted democracy. A full four state senate districts drawn after the 2000 Census (17, 19, 33 and 37), and a full five house districts (65, 70, 92, 107 and 110) meet federal minimum population requirements only because they claim prisoners as constituents. Similarly in Pennsylvania, no fewer than eight state legislative districts would comply with the federal "one person, one vote" civil rights standard if non-voting state and federal prisoners in those districts were not counted as district residents.

President Obama fits Norman Kelley's definition of an HNIC: charismatic but politically unaccountable and delivering little of tangible value to the people he claims to represent, namely Blacks & Latinos. It is much easier to discuss mascots or Trayvon Martin than to confront & solve the problems posed by white supremacy. For the HNIC, there is usually no political price for not delivering the goods.  He also is a symbol.

Redskins owner Dan Snyder has refused requests from Native Americans and others to change the name, which originated during the 1930s when the franchise was located in Boston. The team moved to Washington for the 1937 season. The Redskins were the last NFL team to integrate. [more]. In the present, the local white media and fans seem to be been very uneasy with having a black quarterback - as they were with Doug Williams, even after he won a Super Bowl.  

"All these mascots and team names related to Native Americans, Native Americans feel pretty strongly about it," Obama told the Associated Press. "And I don't know whether our attachment to a particular name should override the real, legitimate concerns that people have about these things."

Annual NYC inmate cost exceeds four years at Harvard

A recent report found that jailing a person in New York City for one year costs more than four years of tuition at an Ivy League university. The Independent Budget Office found that in 2012 it cost the city $167,731 to hold each of its daily average of 12,287 prisoners, or about $460 per person per day. Undergraduate tuition at Harvard University is $38,891 annually, or $155,564 for a four-year degree. Of those people incarcerated, more than 2,000 were being held for drug offenses, surpassing the number for murders or robberies. The majority of the prisoners are African-American (57 percent), followed by Hispanics (33 percent), whites (7 percent) and Asians (1 percent), a New York City Department of Corrections report said. The majority come from less affluent areas of the city. The United States leads the world in the number of people behind bars, according to the International Center for Prison Studies in London.  The so-called war on drugs and mandatory minimum sentencing and related laws enacted in the 1980s and 1990s have contributed to a rising number of inmates, especially those charged with drug-related offenses.

A federal judge has just ordered the immediate release of Herman Wallace, who was held in solitary confinement for more than 40 years. Judge Brian A. Jackson, Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the Middle District of Louisiana, overturned Wallace’s conviction because an improperly chosen grand jury that excluded women jurors violated the Fourteenth Amendment.
 
Wallace, who is dying of liver cancer, is known as one of the “Angola 3,” named for the Louisiana prison where he and two other men — Albert Woodfox and Robert King Wilkerson — collectively spent more than 100 years in solitary confinement for the 1972 murder of a prison guard.
 
Wallace was already serving time for a bank robbery when he came under investigation for the 1972 murder. According to court records, more than 200 inmates — none of whom were white — were questioned. Wallace’s conviction was based largely on the testimony of another inmate who received special treatment in exchange for his testimony.
 
Wallace was sentenced to solitary confinement, where he remained for more than three decades, when he was moved to another prison, where he is still confined to his solitary cell for 23 hours a day. The physical evidence that was collected from the crime scene was never tested and other evidence was lost. Another inmate has since confessed to the murder.

Graffiti Targeting Non-Whites Promotes White Supremacy Message Worldwide

Racism is not personal, it is racial. Contrary to the white media and police reports about the following recent occurrences, these phenomena  are not "isolated incidents" - they are a part of the pattern of the racist conduct of white people in a global white supremacy system.  

9/24/13 Campaign signs for Dr. Sudhanshu Prasad, a town councilman running for mayor (Edison, NJ), were defaced with racist graffiti over the weekend, his campaign said. With red spray-paint, the vandal or vandals wrote, "Never in Edison!" on one side of the sign on Cherry Street, and on the other side wrote "DOTHEAD," a racist term for Hindus. Prasad is a Hindu and took his oath of office for town council on the Bhagavad Gita.

Someone also spray-painted a symbol that the campaign said resembles a swastika, which was appropriated by the Nazis . (It should also be noted that the swastika is a symbol of Hinduism, long before its Nazi associations took hold. In Sanskrit, it is an affirmation of the goodness in life.) [MORE] and [similar] 

9/25/13 Racist words were spray painted across a Black family's home in Corbin (KY).   A white man was arrested and chargedin Knox and Whitley County of spray painting threatening messages and racial slurs on walls, buildings and a car. Twenty-four-year-old Aron Bryant is charged with first and second-degree criminal mischief in both counties for the incidents. Above he wrote Nigger on the door of the vehicle. [MORE] 

9/20/13 Police have arrested a 38-year-old man on suspicion of a hate crime in connection with the writing of racist graffiti on a downtown Bakersfield church (CA).

James Vincent Abernathy was arrested about 4 p.m. Thursday and booked on suspicion of vandalizing a church because of race and setting the church on fire to violate civil rights, according to the Sheriff's Office website. Racial slurs were written in black marker on two areas of the Black church's wall. A swastika and "KKK" was written on one section, and "Nigger GO HOME" written next to a second swastika on another. 9/27/13 Norwalk (Connecticut) police have launched an investigation at Veterans Memorial Park after visitors came across racist graffiti across the front of a monument. Authorities say someone wrote "KKK" with black marker on the monument, which sits near the American flag. [MORE]

9/30/13 A school on Long Island (NY) was vandalized with racial graffiti this past weekend, and police have launched a search for the culprit. Sometime between Friday and Monday, someone or several people vandalized the outside walls of the Martin Avenue Elementary School, at 2616 Martin Ave. in Bellmore, with paint marker, Nassau County police said. The graffiti included two pink swastikas about 2 feet by 2 feet in size, as well as the letters “NWA” and “N” and the word “niggers” in black marker, police said. [MORE]

10/1/13 Vandals in Iowa spray painted racist slurs on an interracial couple’s home and set it on fire, police said. ''They wrote the N-word all over my walls,' homeowner Shelly Owens says. Racist vandals broke into Owens house, spray painted the walls and set a fire in the bedroom. Owens, fiance Kevin Durham and their biracial children live in an alleged "diverse" neighborhood Council Bluffs.

Council Bluffs Fire Marshal Curtis McKeon told the Daily News the fire was set inside the bedroom. The family dog escaped unharmed. The family of four is now homeless. [MORE]

9/30/13 "Race hate" has taken a turn for the worse in Ryde (Austrailia), with anti-Muslim and Asian messages defacing a series of properties linked to tenants of non-white ethnic origin.

The walls, fences and streets of Ryde and Putney have been sprayed with anti-Muslim slogans, while even the laundry of one house owned by Liem Nguyen was daubed with anti-Asian sentiments. A nearby bus stop on Victoria Rd, opposite St Charles Church, was also hit with anti-Muslim statements as was the footpath in Charles St, opposite the church. This vandalism adds to a long list of shocking racially-fuelled attacks in the northern district, including two verbal and physical assaults still under investigation by Gladesville Police. [MORE]

Must be 'white boy day': White Party (republicans) Hosts Racist Bake Sale in TX/Shuts Down Government in DC - "for fairness"

From [HERE] Last Wednesday, the Young Conservatives of Texas engaged in a misguided and ignorant attempt at ‘satire’ by holding an “Affirmative Action Bake Sale.” The premise of the bake sale was that people would pay for baked goods on the basis of their skin color with white students paying the most ($2), followed by Asian students ($1.50), Latino students ($1), Black students (75 cents), and Native American students (25 cents); with a special 25 cent discount for all women. 

In reality, the White Supremacy System is the ultimate form of "racial entitlement" or "affirmative action." As stated by Anon, "affirmative action is NOT black racism. Black people did not create affirmative action, the terminology, or the where, when, and how it becomes a policy in Corporate America. Blacks do NOT have the power to implement any just or unjust policies at any white college or university. Whites control, name, legislate, and decide everything that happens within America’s institutions of power - including black institutions.

From [HERE] On Tuesday the U.S. government began to shut down for the first time in 17 years after a Congress bitterly divided over President Obama’s signature health-care initiative failed to reach agreement to fund federal agencies.

Hours before a midnight deadline, the Republican House passed its third proposal in two weeks to fund the government for a matter of weeks. Like the previous plans, the new one sought to undermine the Affordable Care Act, this time by delaying enforcement of the “individual mandate,” a cornerstone of the law that requires all Americans to obtain health insurance.

House Speaker John A. Boehner (R-Ohio) argued passionately that Republicans were merely seeking “fairness” for working people. Obama has delayed a mandate for employers to insure workers and delayed other requirements for big unions, Boehner said. “Yet they stick our constituents with a bill they don’t like and a bill they can’t afford,” he said. At least five Southern states, no longer required to ask Washington’s permission before changing election procedures, are adopting voter-identification laws or toughening existing requirements.

For five decades, states and localities with a history of discrimination had to submit all election laws — whether they involved new congressional district maps, precinct locations or voting hours — to federal lawyers for approval. That practice ended in June when the Supreme Court struck down the provision in the Voting Rights Act as outdated. [MORE]

White people are vastly outnumbered.

White people are the vanishing majority in the U.S. That is, the U.S. Census Bureau has reported that by 2047 non-white persons will be the majority of the US population. The Republican Party is the party of the vanishing majority - it is the White Party.

As explained by Patrick Buchanan, 'Republicans now depend on this vanishing majority of whites for fully 90 percent of their votes in presidential elections, while the Democratic Party wins 60 to 70 percent of the Asian and Hispanic vote and 90 to 95 percent of the black vote. Already, California, Illinois and New York are lost. The GOP has not carried any of the three in six presidential elections. When Texas – where whites are a minority and a declining share of the population – tips, how does the GOP put together an electoral majority?' Worldwide, white people are surrounded by a non-white global majority - whites now represent less than 10% of the world's population --and their numbers continue to diminish. [MORE] and [MORE] and [MORE]. NYPD Commissioner Pracitices Racism to Produce Confusion: says Indians are Asians, Not American Indians

The following article from ColorLines about so-called racial classifications is an example of the confusion among non-whites created by white supremacy.  A major goal of white supremacy is maximum confusion amongst non-whites. The only purpose of "race" is to practice racism/white supremacy. In a white supremacy system all non-white people are niggers. 'Niggers would not exist in the absence of white supremacy/racism.' "NYPD Commissioner Ray Kelly issued a memo on Monday to address 'incorrect racial identification' used by the NYPD.  According to a report from the NYPD's Quality Assurance Division, police officers mistakenly identified crime suspects and victims who are Indian as "American Indian" instead of Asian.  Sometimes a person was labeled as both Asian and American Indian, although apparently the error was not widespread.

Colorlines.com publisher Rinku Sen is quoted by the New York Daily News, saying she appreciates the efforts made by the NYPD. "The memo might give police officers the chance to understand the difference between American Indians and Asian Indians," she said. In a city like New York, which has the largest population of Native Americans and Alaska Natives in the country, this move by the NYPD is a notable effort to correct inaccurate racial categorizations, and increase awareness in a police department notorious for racial profiling." Increasing the understanding of racial classifications created for the sole purpose of practicing racism? This is delusionment! Racism is carried out through violence and or deception. Who decided that you were a Black, Latino or Fillipino person? Racists did. They created the race concept. White people created the terms "Latino", "negro", "Africa", "African", etc. Victims of white supremacy cannot classify themselves without the approval of racists/white supremacists. At any rate, these classifications are designed to promote confusion.  

[Please note that the symbolic gesture of performing respect by the NYPD is deception. The police do you no favor by treating you like a human being. It is their job. It should go without saying that humane treatment does not include [white supremacy] being subjected to various color based, nazi-style, movement restrictions (stop and frisk) and ID regulations ("papers please"). Polite police also violate the 4th Amendment rights of non-whites, daily. Polite white people or racist suspects also quietly support and or do nothing to stop the operating system of racial mistreatment (white supremacy). As Neely Fuller has explained, no one can give you respect. If you want some respect then give it to yourself. Be honest with yourself about reality.

It is deception (white supremacy/racism) for white people to give you something (respect) you already have. As Steve Cokely said "never play for your own sandwich", ever.  People who classify themselves as White, who wish to be taken seriously, and who are righteous and responsible, will only talk about ending White Supremacy (Racism) and replacing it with Justice. Dr. Frances Cress Welsing explained: "whites are vulnerable to their sense of numerical inadequacy (90% of the world is non-white. Yes, 90%). This inadequacy is apparent in their drive to divide the vast majority of non-whites into fractional, as well as frictional, minorities. This is viewed as a funda­mental behavioral response of whites to their own minority status.

The white "race" has structured and manipulated their own thought processes and conceptual patterns, as well as those of the entire non-white world majority, so that the real numerical minority (whites) illusionally feels and represents itself as the world's majority, while the true numerical majority (non-whites) illusionally feels and views itself as the minority.

Interest­ingly, the white collective, whenever discussing the question of color, never discusses any of its own particular ethnic groups as minorities, but constantly focuses on the various ethnic, language and religious groups of non-white peoples as minorities. Then great efforts are made to initiate conflict between these arbitrary groups. This is one of the key methods by which a minority can remain in power. The "divide, frictionalize and conquer" pattern, observable throughout history wherever non-whites are confronted by whites, results primarily from whites' sense of color deficiency and secondarily from their sense of numerical inadequacy. This pattern, then, is a compensatory adjustment to permit psychological comfort through dominance and control." [MORE]
