Zimmerman’s next court date will be Aug. 8

From [HERE] It will be three months before George Zimmerman’s murder case has another court hearing.

Zimmerman and the lawyers handling his second-degree murder trial skipped a scheduled arraignment Tuesday, because a not-guilty plea had already been submitted in writing. A planning hearing is now scheduled for Aug. 8.

Zimmerman’s lawyer, Mark O’Mara, filed motions Tuesday requesting a continuance and waiving his client’s right to a speedy trial. (Attention Black Men - dont' try this at home -  if a Black defendant failed to appear in court a bench warrant would be issued. Watch your back yall a killer is at large -  bw). 

Zimmerman is claiming self defense in the Feb. 26 killing of Trayvon Martin, an unarmed Miami Gardens teenager.
