No White Christmas Either

The USA Today asks "Brown ground got you down?" There's still hope for a white Christmas across parts of the Plains, Midwest and interior Northeast as a winter storm delivers snow to those areas just in time for the holiday.

Snow, some of it heavy, is likely Wednesday and into Thursday in parts of Nebraska, Kansas, Iowa, Illinois, Wisconsin and Michigan, reports AccuWeather meteorologist Tom Kines. Some areas could see blizzard conditions, with snow piling up as much as a foot, along with howling winds. [MORE
