HATE Group Puts up a Sign in Downtown Salt Lake City

Salt Lake Community College student Tim Stout said he wants to spend the weekend exercising his First Amendment rights. He has chosen to do it in the neighborhood where another group is exercising its First Amendment rights. The National Alliance has bought space on a State Street billboard near downtown with the message "Securing the Future for European Americans. "We understand their free speech rights," said Stout, a business student at SLCC, about the sign posted by the National Alliance, whose Web site says it supports "White Americans and Europeans." A greeting left at the telephone number listed for the group speaks of "out of control immigration," of "non-white illegal aliens [who] are pouring into the country," and of the "Jewish monopoly of the mass media." "We favor a free, strong proud white America," the message says. Travis Massey, of the Utah chapter of National Alliance, said his organization does not preach hatred.  [more ] and [more ]
  • Housewife and mother, Hope, MI. I joined the National Alliance because I want my children to grow up in a clean, healthy, White world, where they won't be a minority. I want them to go to White schools and live in a White community. I want them to learn White values, not TV values. [more ] No wonder why Karl Malone couldn't wait to leave this Redneck state.
