Florida's Crime: The Felon List

It was so much easier for Tallahassee officials to defend a list of 48,000 "potential felons" who should be purged from the voter rolls when that list was a secret one.    Now that it's out, it's apparent that the state was engaged in flawed record keeping and wanted county election officials -- already pressed with election deadlines and with no additional staff to make added checks -- to blindly agree to pull voters whose names appeared on it.
