Republicans Irate over NASCAR Contribution to Operation PUSH

NLPC President Peter Flaherty reacted by saying, "NASCAR has a credibility problem. If NASCAR wants to assert that there is nothing wrong with the dollars of NASCAR fans going to Jesse Jackson, it should just say so. If NASCAR is unwilling to say so, it should end the support." Of the renewed support, Flaherty said, "NASCAR fans by the thousands last year made clear they dont want NASCAR bankrolling Jesse Jackson. I can't imagine why NASCAR wants to renew the debate over its support for a divisive and controversial figure like Jesse Jackson. [more]
