Many were killed, and hundreds were injured by Israeli occupation fire and transferred to hospitals across the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours, Gaza's Health Ministry reported, as the genocide of Palestinians continues unabated. 

In an Israeli occupation drone strike near the bridge of al-Qarara town, north of Khan Younis in southern Gaza, several people were injured, some of them reportedly in critical condition. The Israeli occupation also shelled areas south of Khan Younis.

The attacks come as the Israeli occupation continues its assaults on the Gaza Strip in violation of the "ceasefire" agreement reached in October 2025. The ongoing violations have resulted in the martyrdom of 1,203 Palestinians and the injury of 3,900 others.

Systemic targeting of Gaza's healthcare sector

Amid the continued aggression and siege, Gaza's Health Ministry warned that the countdown has begun for the suspension of transport buses carrying medical staff and patients, which could occur within days due to a severe depletion of essential operating supplies.

The ministry cautioned that the suspension of transport services would bring medical personnel's access to hospitals to a complete standstill, while preventing patients from reaching the care they urgently need. [MORE]
