Tour to register voters, recall slayings

A caravan of volunteers headed south Thursday for a two-week voter registration drive to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the slayings of three civil rights workers in Mississippi. It is an effort led by Ben Chaney, the brother of James Chaney, who along with two other civil rights workers was slain near Philadelphia, Miss., in 1964.
