N.J. Congressman Bob Menendez urges show of political clout from Latinos

Latinos need to translate their numbers into political and economic power, U.S. House Democratic Caucus Chairman Bob Menendez of New Jersey said Monday. Speaking to Hispanic leaders at a National Council of La Raza event at Phoenix Civic Plaza, Menendez encouraged the group to take his message home and flex the community's political strength by registering voters and turning out for the presidential election.
